  • At ReNurture, every session, class, and event is held with care and intention. As a small business, a lot of time, energy, and preparation goes into creating and holding these spaces. For this reason, I have the following cancellation policy in place:

    Payments & Refunds

    • All sales are final and non-refundable.

    • No refunds are administered unless a session, class, or event is cancelled by ReNurture.

    • In rare cases where a refund is offered at my discretion, any transaction/booking fees will be deducted unless the refund is due to ReNurture’s cancellation.

    • Refunds for multi-session courses, event packages, or special programmes will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Where a refund is granted, it may be subject to a deduction for any classes or events already attended. Except where specified, all sales are final, and Clients are responsible for full payment of booked classes or events.

    Rescheduling & Credits

    • One reschedule or credit is allowed if at least 72 hours’ notice is given.

    • If you cannot attend, you are welcome to gift your space to a friend or family member. Please inform me if someone else will be attending in your place.

    • Emergencies do happen. If something arises unexpectedly and you cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible. While refunds cannot be guaranteed, I will do my best to accommodate you with a reschedule or credit at my discretion.

    Minimum Attendance for Events

    • Some events require a minimum of 3 participants. In the rare event that attendance is too low, I may need to cancel. If this happens, you will be notified (usually the evening before) and offered either a full refund or a credit towards another date.

    Cancellations by ReNurture

    • If I need to cancel a session, class, or event for any reason, I will give as much notice as possible. You will then be offered the choice of rescheduling, receiving a credit note, or receiving a full refund.

    Contact for Changes or Cancellations

Thank you for understanding and supporting the sustainability of my small business. These policies ensure I can continue to create meaningful, nourishing offerings for the community.

Please arrive in good time to get checked in and settled.

Special events that are outside the normal private session may have additional terms & conditions that will be included on the invoice.

  • To ensure the safety, comfort, and respect of all participants, please take note of the following guidelines when attending a session, class, or event with me, Ruth Hoey:

    Before & During Your Session

    • Please arrive sober. If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you will be asked to leave without refund.

    • Out of respect for others, please avoid wearing cologne, perfume, or strong essential oils. If your scent is disruptive, you may be asked to leave.

    • Photography & recording: Some sessions are deeply personal and healing. Please ask permission before taking any photos or videos, and practice sensitivity around others.

    • Phones & devices: Ensure mobile phones and electronic devices are switched off, or at least on silent/airplane mode.

    • Food & drink: Water in a closed container is welcome, but no other food or drinks are permitted in the space.

    • If you find it difficult to lie on the floor, please let me know in advance and a chair can be provided.

    • If you tend to fall asleep, consider raising your head with an extra pillow or lying on your side to reduce snoring, which can distract others.

    • Please bring only minimal personal belongings into the venue.

    • Out of respect for the instruments, do not touch them. If any damage is caused, you will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

    • I, Ruth Hoey, reserve the right to refuse service.

    Online Sessions

    • You will need to download Zoom in advance.

    • Use high-quality headphones if possible for the best sound experience.

    • Ensure a strong internet connection and keep your video and microphone switched off once the session begins, unless instructed otherwise.

    Rates

    • All rates are subject to change without notice.

    Aftercare
It is normal for some people to experience temporary discomfort during or after a sound journey, as energy continues to move and toxins release from the body. Symptoms may briefly intensify before settling, usually within 1–2 days. To support your integration and healing:

    • Drink plenty of water to assist detoxification.

    • Rest well and take gentle exercise.

    • Listen to your body and honour what it needs.

    • Journaling can be a helpful way to process any insights or emotions that arise.

    • Regular sessions and ongoing self-care practices can further support your healing journey.

  • The Practitioner is committed to protecting the Client’s privacy and confidential information. All personal information, discussions, and records shared during sessions will remain confidential. This means the Practitioner will not disclose any identifiable information about the Client to any third party without the Client’s explicit consent.

Exceptions to confidentiality apply only in rare circumstances required by law or ethical duty – for example, if the Practitioner is compelled by a court order, or if the Client indicates intent to harm themselves or others, or in cases of abuse that the law requires to be reported. In such situations, the Practitioner will limit the disclosure to only what is necessary and, when feasible, inform the Client of the need to disclose.

The Practitioner maintains any session notes or client records in a secure manner (protected by passwords or locked files, as appropriate). The Client’s contact details and personal data are handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws, UK & EU GDPR or relevant privacy regulations. By agreeing to these terms, the Client also agrees to respect the Practitioner’s privacy and not share any confidential details about the Practitioner or other clients. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the trust in the client/practitioner relationship and will be strictly upheld by the Practitioner.

  • For the healing/therapeutic process to be effective, the Client plays an active role. By entering into this agreement, the Client agrees to the following responsibilities:

    • Honest Communication: Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information about your circumstances, health history, and needs so the Practitioner can tailor the services effectively. Be open and honest in all communications, and promptly inform the Practitioner of any concerns, changes, or relevant updates (for example, changes in health, schedule, or goals).

    • Active Participation: Commit to the process by actively engaging in sessions and any recommended exercises or homework. This includes completing any agreed-upon assignments or practice exercises between sessions and taking responsibility for applying the Practitioner’s guidance in your daily life. The Client acknowledges that personal effort and follow-through are essential for progress.

    • Timeliness and Attendance: Be punctual for all scheduled sessions. If a session is remote, ensure you have a suitable environment (quiet, private, and free from distractions) and log in on time. If an emergency or conflict arises that affects your ability to attend a session, notify the Practitioner as soon as possible in line with the Cancellation Policy (Section 3). Repeated lateness or missed appointments without proper notice may result in the Practitioner reassessing the continuity of services.

    • Respect and Conduct: Maintain respectful communication and behaviour throughout the professional relationship. The Client is expected to be courteous and refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct towards the Practitioner. Both parties agree to uphold a safe, respectful environment for the sessions. If the Client ever feels uncomfortable or has boundaries to communicate, they agree to inform the Practitioner so that adjustments can be made.

    • Personal Responsibility for Health: Consult your healthcare provider when necessary. Especially for nutrition or wellness coaching, the Client should seek medical clearance if they have any medical conditions before implementing diet, exercise, or lifestyle changes. The Client is responsible for listening to their body and using their judgment; if any recommendation from the Practitioner causes discomfort or adverse effects, the Client should stop immediately and inform the Practitioner.

    • Feedback and Questions: Communicate any questions or need for clarification about the process or any exercises. If something is not working well for the Client, or if they require additional support, they should inform the Practitioner. Feedback is encouraged so the Practitioner can adjust the approach if necessary.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Client helps create a productive partnership and maximises the benefits of the Practitioner’s services. Failure by the Client to uphold these responsibilities may impact the effectiveness of the services and, if severe (for example, persistent non-compliance or misconduct), may result in termination of the agreement by the Practitioner.

  • I, Ruth Hoey, may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in policies, services, or applicable laws. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email, through an updated document provided before a new session, on my website, or on my profile on Fluum. Continued use of my services after being notified of changes will be taken as acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any updated Terms, you should notify me in writing; in such cases, services may be discontinued if a mutual agreement cannot be reached.

    Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Both I, Ruth Hoey, and the Client agree that any disputes arising in relation to this Agreement or the services provided will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws or resolved through an alternative dispute resolution process.

    Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith through open and respectful communication. If an agreement cannot be reached, mediation or arbitration may be considered as alternatives before pursuing legal action. However, this does not restrict either party’s right to seek remedies through the courts of England and Wales.

    Acceptance
By booking and using my services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Your continued use of my services constitutes voluntary acceptance of these Terms, with the intent to be legally bound.

Please note that some events, especially those held at other locations, may have different policies, and those policies will be listed on the event or ticketing page. All policies apply regardless of individual circumstances (this includes COVID-19, accidents, illnesses, and all other seen or unforeseen circumstances). If you do not follow the policies, your session or event may be canceled without a refund. I are committed to maintaining a respectful and welcoming environment, and those who are rude or disruptive to other participants or facilitators will be asked to leave without a refund.
