Walk, Talk, Connect- A Sacred Pause in Nature

  • Ruislip Woods Broadwood Avenue Ruislip, England, HA4 7XT United Kingdom (map)

Join myself and Sally Talal, fellow Yoga, Breath-work Teacher, Sound Healer and nature lover, as we bring our communities together for a gentle, heart-led afternoon in the ancient woodland. This Walk Talk Connect gathering invites you to take a sacred pause in nature, to reconnect with yourself, the land, and a wonderful group of like-minded souls.

Held within a supportive community, we’ll mindfully explore this stunning land, move our bodies, and connect through conversation and silence alike.

Join the walk

We’ll begin with an introductory circle, allowing us to meet, set intentions, and understand a few simple ground rules to help everyone get the most from this nature-based experience. From there, we’ll take a gentle walk through the woodland — alternating between silent, mindful walking, moments of quiet observation, and times for comfortable, heartful conversation.

We’ll return to our starting point for a closing circle — a space to share reflections, exchange numbers (or hugs), and gather for tea if you’d like to linger a little longer.

This event is:

🌿 Open to all — partners, children, and furry friends are warmly welcome

💚 Donation-based — recommended minimum £2, with all proceeds going to Just One Tree charity. Everyone is welcome, whether you can contribute financially or not.

👣 Accessible — the route is fairly easy and welcoming, though please note it may not be suitable for all due to the natural forest terrain.

🍵 What to bring: Dress appropriately for the weather, and bring drinks/snacks if you wish.

This is more than a walk — it’s a chance to reconnect with nature, tend to your wellbeing, and nourish the sense of belonging that makes our community thrive.

Note:

Ruislip Woods offers a fairly easy route that allows you to enjoy a leisurely walk under a canopy of trees, where you'll find the pace comfortable and the atmosphere welcoming ensuring that everyone can enjoy conversations and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. I do my best to ensure ReNurture events are inclusive however given the nature of the forest walk, please note it may not be suitable for all.
